Every new invention raises a hope against the biggest threat that constantly lingers around, that is, the ever depleting energy. This day on 20 Aug 2006, Steorn claims in the Economist the invention of the technology which can supply free, clean and constant energy. This technology is claimed to provide power to vehicles, to engines, to mobiles without any recharging. The technology focused on interaction of magnetic fields, that results in energy creation without any loss, so this is the direct opposition of the ‘Principle of the Conservation of Energy’. Steorn is asking for the public validation and endorsement of the scientific community since its uses can cater many urgent global needs, including security of energy supply and zero emission energy production. Steorn wants its use as a royalty-free technology by energy sector in third world for basic needs such as electrification projects
